Jonathan's finale

Jonathan’s title for the evening was “Altered Images” and the spectacular array of arrangements, which can be seen in the accompanying image, covered the complete spectrum of design styles from traditional to contemporary and his choice of plant material was varied and colourful. During the demonstration we were introduced to some new techniques for manipulating foliage, and some new plant varieties that had recently come onto the market including fasciated veronica “Alien”. While Jonathan created these fabulous arrangements in such a relaxed and jovial manner, he entertained us with his extensive knowledge of the subject and tales of his experiences in floral art.
