February 2023 - Karen Buckley with "Mary Quant"
We had a fun start to our year with Karen Buckley who gave us a talk on Mary Quant and a few arrangements inspired by her subject. It was an entertaining evening and Karen had great enthusiasm for, and knowledge of, her subject. Some of our members were also in on the act sporting bright coloured tights, mini skirts and other accessories for which Mary Quant was famous. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photograph of Karen with her props on the evening but fortunately I won a lovely arrangement in the raffle so here is a shot of that!.
