Palms and Grasses - March 2017
In March we welcomed another local demonstrator to the club. Ann Westwood from Westill entertained us with her demonstration "Palms and Grasses". Each of her exhibits contained at least one manipulated type of grass or palm. Ann was kind enough to share the tricks of her trade and show us how to achieve the effect.
Ann's sub-theme for the demonstration was events which occur in March each year and the picture on the left shows Ann with an exhibit for "International Women's Day" featuring the purple, white and green colours of the suffragettes.
